An outline of my previous experience (or download my current CV).

Academic experience

In addition to publishing my book and several articles, I have given papers and chaired sessions at several international conferences. I have also been asked to write reviews and act as a referee for leading journals.

Teaching experience

Since 2000 I have supervised regularly in Greek and Latin translation and Greek prose composition as well as on various topics for linguistics papers in the Classics Faculty. I have also taught reading and grammar classes to undergraduates and MPhil students.

I have lectured several different courses in linguistics (see the lectures page), and set and marked papers in the examinations of the Classics Tripos.

In the summers of 2005, 2007 and 2009 I was a tutor at the JACT Greek summer school at Bryanston, and from September 2005 at Madingley Hall.

College responsibilities

As Fellow of Queens' College for four years I was variously College Lecturer in Classics, Tutor, Schools Liaison Officer, Research Fellow and Acting Director of Studies.
