ὅταν φίλος τις ἀνδρὶ θυμωθεὶς φίλῳ
ἐς ἓν συνελθὼν ὄμματ’ ὄμμασιν διδῷ,
ἐφ’ οἷσιν ἥκει, ταῦτα χρὴ μόνον σκοπεῖν,
κακῶν δὲ τῶν πρὶν μηδενὸς μνείαν ἔχειν.

When a friend, enraged at a friend, meets him face to face, he should only consider the reason he came for, and forget all any previous arguments.
