τεύχεα δ’ ἀλλήλοις ἐπαμείψομεν, ὄφρα καὶ οἵδε
γνῶσιν ὅτι ξεῖνοι πατρώϊοι εὐχόμεθ’ εἶναι.

And let us make exchange of armour, each with the other, that these men too may know that we declare ourselves to be friends from our fathers' days.
