ἠρώτων ἐκεῖνοι εἰ δοῖεν ἂν τούτων τὰ πιστά. οἱ δ’ ἔφασαν καὶ δοῦναι καὶ λαβεῖν ἐθέλειν.

They asked if they would give oaths on this. They answered that they wanted to both give and take them.
